I am a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University researching health economics. I earned a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis in 2021. Prior to that, I wrote a book, Chronic Resilience, which was a personal examination of the patient experience. I told stories of resilience that demonstrated how seemingly individual experiences with the health care system are fundamentally connected. With an applied economist’s toolkit, my research now focuses on health innovation, information and resource constraints. I am passionate about teaching, my restaurant, my family, and my community.
